Arnab Goswami is an Indian News Anchor, and Media Personality from Guhawati (India). He owns Republic tv channel.

He is the Editor-in-Chief, Managing Director and Co-Founder of Republic TV. He was also the Editor-in-Chief of Times Now from 2006 – 2016.

Birthplace

Arnab Goswami was born on 7th March 1973 in Guwahati, Assam. He is an Indian journalist, news anchor and the managing director of Republic TV. He also co-hosts a show on the channel.

He grew up in a family with political links, as his father was an army officer. He later joined the BJP and was a candidate in 1998 Lok Sabha polls for Assam.

In 2006, he was appointed the editor-in-chief of Times Now. He also hosted a show titled ‘Newshour’ that aired on weekdays at 9 pm. He also hosted a special programme called ‘Frankly Speaking with Arnab’ that featured interviews with personalities from politics, entertainment and sports.
