Anurradha Prasad is a renowned journalist and writer who has worked in the industry for many years. Born in Patna, Bihar, she comes from a Hindu family and her father, Thakur Prasad, was a Senior Advocate. Her brother, Ravi Shankar Prasad is also a politician.
Anurradha started her career with the business magazine ‘Money Matters’ before joining Press Trust of India in 1985. After which she had established BAG Films & Media Ltd., where she was recognized for producing Kumkum, Poll Khol and Khullja Sim-Sim on Star Plus. She was also an active member of FICCI committee and Uttarakhand Film Development Council board.
Anurradha got married to Rajeev Shukla, who is also a politician. Both now live in New Delhi together.
Currently Anurradha works as Editor-in-Chief of News24 and Managing Director of BAG Films & Media Ltd., where she has been widely appreciated for her work.
