Preeti Raghunandan is an award-winning news anchor from New Delhi, India. Born on 16th September into a Sikh family, Preeti pursued her Bachelor’s Degree in a famous college in India, before embarking on her journey as a journalist.
Preeti started out at Punjab Today and also worked with Total TV and India News. In 2012, she joined News18 India where she gained fame as a news presenter and host of several shows. During this time, she was recognised for her skills with awards like the Aadhi Aabadi Award (2016) and the “Star Performer of the Year” award. Most recently in 2022, she was honoured as the best anchor presenting news in Hindi.
Despite the immense contribution to News18 India, Preeti received an even better opportunity and has been working at TV9 Bharatvarsh since October 2022..
Preeti Raghunandan was born on 16th September into a well-cultured Sikh family in New Delhi. Growing up, her parents always supported her dreams and ambitions and it was due to their encouragement that Preeti decided to pursue a degree in journalism after completing her 10th Standard.
Upon graduating from college, Preeti kicked off her journey as a journalist with Punjab Today in 2003 and since then she has gone on to work with various channels including Total TV, India News, and News18 India. During her time at News18 India, she made a name for herself with some commendable anchoring skills, leading to recognition through awards such as Aadhi Aabadi Award (2016) and “Star Performer of the Year” award.
In October 2022, Preeti joined TV9 Bharatvarsh where she continues to work today. With over 19 years of experience behind her, Preeti has forged an impressive career path within the journalism industry that has been made possible largely due to her parents’ unwavering support.
