Vinay Sarawagi News18 India News Anchor Biography

Vinay Sarawagi is the Senior Vice President at Times Network, having worked with News18 India for more than five years prior as an Executive Editor. Before commencing his journalism career, Vinay first worked with Thomas Reuters as a correspondent.

Vinay grew up in childhood and completed his early education at a good school before attending a good college for higher studies. He also earned the CNN fellowship in 2008. Outside of work he has been focused on his career and has not considered getting married yet.

Born on the 5th of May to a traditional Hindu family, Vinay Sarawagi was raised in a middle-class family. Currently, he is the Sr. Vice President with the Times Network, having previously worked with News18 as an Executive Editor.

Vinay completed his early education and pursued his graduation from a good college. In 2008, he acquired the CNN fellowship which opened up new opportunities for him. He then began working as a correspondent with Thomas Reuters before gaining experience at the Times of India and Business Standard. Finally, he embarked on his journey at Network18 Media & Investments Ltd. as a Sr. Editor before assuming his current role at Times Network.
