Sikta Deo is a well-known Sr. Editor and Anchor with NDTV India who was previously working with Aaj Tak since 1995. She has gained much popularity for her effective news presentation and also for her coverage of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, blast on the Samjhauta Express, attack on Akshardham and Parliament.
Sikta stands at 1.68 metres tall with a body weight of 55kg but always looks professional even when her hair falls below her shoulders. Her grooming never fails to portray professionalism, no matter how long her tresses are kept. Brought up in a Hindu family steeped in tradition, Sikta's parents were supportive of whatever she chose to pursue in life.

Raised in an Indian Hindu family, Sikta has always respected her parents' decisions and ambitions for her future. She studied up to 10th standard before pursuing higher studies at Miranda House on the 1st of July 1992.
Realizing her talents and potentials, she decided to pursue a career in broadcast journalism and began working on the news channel Aaj Tak in 1995. During that time, she hosted a two-hour program for Doordarshan which made her popular among the viewers as well as Sr. news anchor Dibang.
Her path then changed when Pranoy offered her a job at NDTV India, where she continues to work as a successful Senior Editor and Anchor today.
